Prepare weekly and monthly reports listing any suspected market timers and excessive traders.
Analyze trading reports looking for trading patterns that may be suspect. Notify participants that they are in violation of ICMA-RC's stated trading policies. Take appropriate action if the trading pattern does not change. Monitor, research and assess trading fees associated with excessive trading of some mutual funds by participants. Test applications as they move through the development phases making sure all problems are noted appropriately and are corrected prior to moving the final product to a Production environment. Liaison between Operations and the Information Technology department. Aid in drafting requirements for new procedures and applications to make day-to-day processing more efficient. Regression and acceptance test new products and proprietary applications that will impact processing. Document and report all testing issues related to the implementation of new versions of the OmniPlus recordkeeping system making sure all proprietary systems interact with Omni correctly. Train associates on new features included in the new versions of Omni. Assist in the quarterly statement process by working on the team in charge of enhancements and review of the statement printing process.
